FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Scottsdale, Ariz. - February 19, 2007 - Cathy Kurth, owner of Audiology & Hearing Aid Center (AHAC), announces the addition of Sherry Miller, Au.D, Doctor of Audiology, to the Audiology Team at their new Thompson Peak office, opening on February 5th. Miller comes to AHAC with 10 years of experience as an audiologist working one-on-one with patients of all ages who have hearing health problems and concerns.

Sherry grew up in Brantford, Ontario, about 60 miles southwest of Toronto in the Great Lakes area. In fact, she went to the same high school as "The Great One" - hockey player Wayne Gretsky. Sherry has been practicing audiology since 1996. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2006 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, where she participated in research that was published in a prestigious audiology journal. Sherry had earlier graduated with a Master's of Clinical Science in 1996 from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.

Sherry is licensed by the State of Arizona and clinically certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association.

"After having worked in the private practice and healthcare clinical settings all my career, I am highly accustomed to evaluating a patient's specific hearing needs and the hearing technology available to help them," says Miller. She has extensive experience in the diagnostic processes used to assess and treat hearing problems, and has fit patients with a wide range of hearing technology throughout her career.

In her role with AHAC, Sherry will be managing the Thompson Peak office supporting all the latest technology that the industry has to offer. "With the addition of Sherry to our team, we will be able to expand our services to our patients and provide more choices in location and appointment times," according to Kurth. She also pointed out, "Our patients expect the best in service and technology. We are among the first to offer the most current technology available and are proud to say we do!"

Miller will be working out of the AHAC office at 20201 N. Scottsdale Healthcare Drive, Suite 230, Scottsdale, AZ 85255, 480-515-0200.

Audiology & Hearing Aid Center's other locations are 3271 N. Civic Center Plaza, Suite 4, and 9777 North 91st Street, Suite 101, in Scottsdale, and 5040 N. 15th Avenue, Suite 408 in Phoenix.
