In this day and age of changing technology, we find that our patients are very interested in what is happening in the hearing health arena. We like to keep our patients informed and updated when new products are introduced. It is also very important to us that they are pleased with our service and the hearing aids they select.

In order to pass on very interesting and important information, we send out "SoundBytes" on a monthly basis. We post them on our website as well, so they can be read at any time.

Just click on the link to the right. All our SoundBytes are listed here for your convenience!

Is it time for a "check-up?"

Did you know that the Audiology & Hearing Aid Center offers a Walk-in Hour for all our patients? Walk-in Hour is held every day, Monday through Friday, from noon to 1:00 pm at each of our office locations.

We designed Walk-in Hour specifically for our patients' convenience. We know that sometimes a hearing aid needs to be cleaned, for example, and a patient may want assistance with that task right away. Since this type of care does not require a great deal of time, it is not necessary to schedule an appointment. Walk-in Hour gives our patients the flexibility to come in any day of the week that is convenient and provides our staff with the necessary amount of time to check your hearing aid.

So, consider stopping in during Walk-in Hour if your hearing aid:
Needs cleaning
Needs the battery door changed
Is not working at all
Or has any other minor problem

If your aid requires any programming or further evaluation, our staff will assist you with making an appointment to see your audiologist as soon as possible.

Feel free to call 480-451-0220 if you have any questions or need further assistance with your hearing aid! Please note: we also recommend that you call ahead of time just in case it is cancelled for that day due to unforeseen circumstances.

Kind regards,

Cathy Kurth, Au.D., FAAA, Doctor of Audiology
and the entire AHAC Team
